United Welfare TrustMask Distribution
Using and wearing clean masks remains one of the vital Covid guidelines by the Government during the Covid 19 pandemic. United Welfare Trust recognizes the importance of wearing masks to prevent the spread of the virus, especially in underprivileged areas where most people are not aware of the usefulness of wearing masks or have limited access to afford masks. To address this issue, United Welfare Trust has taken the initiative to organize mask distribution camps and distribute masks to people in need in rural and slum areas. We also educate people on the importance of wearing masks to help prevent the spread of the virus and protect the health and safety of those unprivileged people. We have distributed over a hundred masks among the local people and the wayfarers through these camps.
Awareness on Covid
Covid 19 outbreaks all over the world caused a terrifying number of infections and deaths. The only medication was to follow the guidelines set by the government. United Welfare Trust recognized the importance of making aware marginalized people of following those guidelines to break the chain of infections and reduce the number of positive cases. To this end, we have organized several awareness campaigns to educate people about washing their hands with soaps or hand wash, maintaining social distancing., avoiding physical contact, and covering noses and mouths with masks. We believe that by following these measures, they can protect their health and the well-being of their loved ones by reducing the risk of infection from this life-threatening disease.
Sanitizer Distribution
During the COVID-19 pandemic, proper sanitation and hygiene had become crucial to prevent the spread of the virus. United Welfare Trust had taken the initiative to distribute hand sanitizers among underprivileged people in rural and slum areas. We worked to conduct camps for distributing free hand sanitizers to ensure that everyone had access to this essential item, and also to educate people about the importance of sanitization to prevent the spread of the virus. Through this initiative, we promoted good hand hygiene practices and tried our best to prevent the transmission of the virus.
